It is not recommended that you eat the fish from the Animas River. Fish
were collected from the Animas and San Juan Rivers. Tissue samples were taken
from these fish and the samples were provided to the Colorado Department of
Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) laboratory for testing. We hope to have
the results from the CDPHE lab tests in approximately two weeks.
